NON-FINANCIAL INFORMATION CSR EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Redsys has been assuming the commitment to dedicate its best efforts as a signatory partner within the United Nations Global Compact since July 2020. This initiative works so that the global business network, in addition to implementing the SDGs, incorporates 10 universal principles related to Human Rights, decent working conditions, the environment and the fight against corruption in their business strategies and operations.

CONTRIBUTION TO THE SDGs

On 25 September 2015, around 160 heads of state and government met at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, adopting a set of global objectives to protect the planet, eradicate poverty and ensure the well-being of Humanity as part of a new sustainable development agenda.

The Sustainable Development Goals are the result of a three-year participatory process and each objective has a series of specific goals that must be achieved by 2030.

Relevant goals for the Redsys Group

Goal 3. We promote initiatives that guarantee a healthy life and promote well-being.
Goal 4. As a technology company, we work to remove the existing technological gap through education and, more specifically, regarding payment methods, transferring our know-how to the different interested parties.
Goal 5. We act from within our organization to guarantee equality in all its aspects and, of course, also between genders as a fundamental principle to guarantee equitable access to available opportunities.
Objective 6. We are aware of the value of water and its current scarcity. That is why we work to become an organization that uses this resource efficiently by implementing measures that ensure this, both in our daily activities and in our business services.
Goal 7. Energy is an essential resource for our operation and, therefore, we are increasing our efforts to make rational and efficient use with the implementation of energy saving and efficiency measures.
Goal 8. We have made efforts to verify that, throughout the value chain, there is no violation of human rights, among others, related to work, in addition to developing policies of labour practices that ensure the promotion, development and welfare of our employees.
Goal 9. We promote the sustainable use of resources and seek to reduce the waste generated by the business itself, designing innovative and sustainable strategies for the use of technologies associated with our activity, as well as socially appropriate practices.
Goal 10. We are making our services and products increasingly accessible, promoting the social and economic inclusion of any individual.
Goal 12. We work on the development of sustainable options within our catalogue of products and services in order to produce in line with sustainable development and consumption based on responsibility.
Goal 13. Climate change is an issue that affects everyone and we cannot stop acting and taking measures to mitigate it. For this reason, we calculate the impact of our company activity to undertake the necessary improvements, making it more sustainable.
Goal 16. Our work has been characterized by always being transparent and ethical. For this reason, we want to reinforce all this by helping to mature the mechanisms that ensure the strengthening of our business governance and decision-making processes at all levels.
Goal 17. Partnerships are essential to make the SDGs a plausible reality. To do this, we have developed initiatives that promote joint work with our stakeholders in this direction.
