The FORO ECOFIN (Economía y Finanzas) jury has named jesus verde lopez, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Redsys, 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
For all of us at Redsys, this is a source of great pride. It is also a fitting opportunity to recognise a career shaped by a very clear way of doing things: working together, combining capabilities and building infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of the financial system.
Since 2010, Jesús Verde has led Redsys through a pivotal period, marked by milestones such as the integration of the ServiRed and 4B networks and the development of the technological infrastructure behind Bizum. These are examples of how 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘆, while reflecting the value of a sector-wide collaborative model and a shared long-term vision. 𝗔 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻.

El jurado de FORO ECOFIN (Economía y Finanzas) ha nombrado a jesus verde lopez, presidente y director general de Redsys, 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗔ñ𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
Para quienes formamos parte de Redsys, es un motivo de orgullo. Y también una buena ocasión para reconocer una trayectoria marcada por una forma muy concreta de hacer las cosas: colaborar, sumar capacidades y construir infraestructuras que estén a la altura de lo que el sistema financiero necesita.
Desde 2010, Jesús Verde está al frente de una etapa clave para Redsys, con hitos como la integración de las redes ServiRed y 4B o el desarrollo de la infraestructura tecnológica de Bizum. Ejemplos de cómo la 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗲𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗹𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗲𝗻 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 y que reflejan el valor de un modelo de colaboración sectorial y una visión compartida a largo plazo. We start our days again with a coffee ☕, get back to our everyday online shopping 📱, and resume our plans after work. These everyday moments are supported by an infrastructure that works behind the scenes to make every payment experience simple, secure and reliable.
💳 Over the summer, transactional activity continued to show positive growth.
According to Redsys data, card activity grew by 10.5% during July and August compared with the same period in 2025, reinforcing the year-to-date trend, which reached +10.7% through August.
Account-to-account payments also continued to gain momentum, with a 56.1% year-on-year growth in e-commerce purchases accumulated through August.
As we get back to our routine, at Redsys we continue working every day to ensure that millions of payments are made with the highest standards of security, efficiency, and trust, connecting people, businesses, and Financial Institutions.
