PC POS

The merchant cash register solution or PC POS is a service that allows payment to be integrated into any management system being used by the merchant. It turns any smart device with an internet connection (computer, tablet or smartphone together with a card reader) into a complete payment terminal.

Its added value is based on the integration of advanced functions, such as duplicity control that avoids repeated payments, backup capacity and personalisation of payments, ensuring the availability of information in any situation.

It allows payments by reference, adapting to various commercial needs, and drives customer loyalty through tools that improve the shopping experience.

Other key features include invoice number processing, the option to add a tip, the inclusion of a digitised signature and the ability to omit printing of the receipt when necessary. In addition, IP control by merchant ensures proper tax compliance.

DCC, Tax Free or Key Entry operations must be contracted through your Financial Entity.

The TPV-PC not only facilitates card payment but also incorporates advanced functions that improve daily operations and the security of transactions.

  • Operational:

From authorisations and refunds to multi-currency payments with Dynamic Conversion Option (DCC) and Tax Free functionality, online and offline batch file management with validation tools against blacklisting and BINs Off, as well as different mobile top-ups.

  • Management:

In addition to payment processing, it allows data export for more efficient administration, detailed statistics and queries on transactions, top-ups and totals. Its configuration adapts to each business, facilitating the management of terminals, printers, reading devices, adapting to the functionality of the Financial Entity.

Each business has specific needs, which is why we offer multiple integration modalities:

  • WebService: Integration with point-of-sale tools, stock management or the merchant's central system, without card capture from PinPad. Requires the development of the webService by the merchant.
  • Web: Access via interface that runs directly in the web browser, without software development by the merchant.
  • Implemented: Integrated directly into the merchant's checkout application on different operating systems (OSs) and allowing card capture from the PinPad. Requires integration of Redsys software components by the merchant.
  • Mobile (mPos): Allows payment through an app and a PinPad on mobile devices and tablets, compatible with Android and iOS. This modality has two options: full application or SDK for integration with the merchant's application.
  • Files: Batch processing of transaction files, both off-line and on-line. This option requires the development of the file by the merchant.

SmartphonePOS

A SmartPhonePOS is an application that allows you to turn your Android device into a contactless payment terminal with the ability to capture PINs following the market security standards (PCI).

To use SmartphonePOS, it is necessary to have a mobile phone with an Android version that is still under Google's maintenance coverage and that has an NFC card for reading physical cards or any other contactless means of payment.

Although its name suggests it, it is not only limited to smartphones but can be used with any Android device with Google services and NCF reader, e.g. tablets. It offers the fastest and most cost-effective way to deploy a terminal in a merchant. The whole enrollment process in our systems will be done online, and the application will be customised and can be found in the official Google Store, increasing the speed, confidence and agility in the deployment of the solution.

This solution has the following functionalities:

  • Sales (with or without PIN)
  • Refunds (with additional user verification)
  • Query of operations
  • Query of merchant totals per day/month
  • Export of operations

Work is underway to expand the functionalities to include other brands and other value-added functionalities such as DCC, tipping or pre-authorisations.

There are currently several modalities:

  • StandAlone: : A customised application is generated, which, in isolation, can be operated as another terminal. In order to operate, it requires a user and merchant enrollment process in Redsys.
  • App2App (SSO): A customised application is generated that only supports operations via the App2App interface. This is a simple and flexible integration that allows the payment application to be incorporated into the merchant's solution. In addition, it is based on a SingleSignOn (SSO) system, which allows user management to be carried out by the application itself that calls the solution. For this modality, an SSO service is required on the integrator's side.
  • SDK(SSO): An SDK is provided and must be integrated into the client application. It is a more complex integration, but it provides a single application with all the necessary payment functionality. As in the App2App modality, it is supported by an SSO system allowing for more agile user management.

MPOS

The Mobile Point of Sale Terminal (mPOS) is a portable, light and accessible payment solution, ideal for merchants requiring travel. By means of an application located on a smartphone or tablet via a Bluetooth connection whose function is to be the card reader, it allows transactions to be carried out in real time.

The device must be linked to a specific application that manages and processes payments. Depending on the model, mPOS may include advanced functions.

The payment process is fast and secure: the customer inserts or swipes the card in the connected reader, enters the amount in the mobile app and confirms the transaction with a signature on the screen. The payment receipt is then sent directly by email or SMS, reducing the use of paper and streamlining the shopping experience.

Linux POS

The Linux POS has been a secure point-of-sale solution for payment management. Its architecture, based on the Linux operating system, has guaranteed an elevated level of stability and customisation in transaction management, being a viable option for years. Due to technological evolution and market preference for more modern and accessible systems such as Android, the Linux POS will no longer be a viable option for new developments and long-term support.

POS Protection and Cleaning Tips

To keep the POS in good condition, it is recommended to avoid using abrasive or aggressive products, such as hand sanitiser, bleach or others. It is also important not to rub or spray the terminal directly or apply the cleaning product onto it. It is advisable not to clean the electrical connections or put pressure on the display, and to avoid removing the battery. In addition, too frequent cleaning may affect the appearance of some plastic parts of the device.

Before Cleaning

It is advisable to switch off the terminal completely and make sure that the cables, especially the power cables, are disconnected.

After cleaning

It is suggested to wait at least 5 minutes before reconnecting and switching on the terminal to avoid moisture accumulation.

How to clean

Isopropyl alcohol or a solution of water and 70% alcohol in a ratio of 80/20 can be used. To apply the product, it is recommended to use a soft, slightly damp cloth, wiping gently on the outer parts of the terminal, avoiding electrical connections. In the display area, it is best to avoid exerting pressure.
